Frequently asked questions
How much does the card machine charge for instalments?
It depends on the machine and your contract. In Kayru’s example fees, credit goes from 3.07% in one payment to 10.65% in 12 instalments: the more instalments, the higher the fee. Check your card machine’s table and change the values in the calculator.
Does the card machine fee apply to the deposit?
Only if the deposit is paid by card. This calculator assumes the deposit is paid by Pix, which doesn’t go through the card machine, so the fee applies only to the balance paid by card.
Does the invoice tax apply to the whole session?
Not here: it applies only to what went through the card, the same rule as in Kayru’s finances. If you also invoice Pix and cash payments, the tax is higher and what you keep is lower. Check your own rule with your accountant.
Are the values I type saved?
No. The maths runs in your browser and nothing is sent to Kayru. When you close the page, the values are gone.
